Federal Package is pleased to announce the launch of FP Labs

Over the past several years, Federal Package has built up our internal capabilities to service the contract manufacturing needs of many household beauty brands and emerging, independent skincare brands that require a complete turnkey manufacturing solution. The launch of FP Labs comes as many beauty brands are looking for a manufacturing partner that can educate, as well as provide the testing capabilities to navigate an ever-changing market.

We have made significant investments in our R&D and testing capabilities that include a substantial build-out of our microbiology and analytics labs, along with increased space dedicated to quality assurance procedures. We have built out three state-of-the-art labs, for microbiology, analytical, and R&D formulating, doubling our former capacity. We perform fully validated OTC product testing in-house. We have added two brand new HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) systems and a GC/MS, (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) to test for contaminants. In light of federal and state legislation, we are also gearing up to test allergens in-house.

What is FP Labs?

FP Labs includes all the full-service contract manufacturing capabilities, compounding and formulation, blending and filling operations, container labeling functions, and pack-out that have become a hallmark of Federal Package. This also includes robust in-house R&D, testing, and quality assurance capabilities that are key to the success of skincare and personal care brands.

What is Federal Package?

Federal Package will continue to provide a wide range of propel and repel containers for lip balms, sunscreen sticks, anti-chafe products, deodorants, and other personal care products. We offer customers sustainability options through our Eco Smart platform that includes post-consumer recycled (PCR) and post-industrial recycled (PIR) plastic content as well as biodegradable options for a more sustainable alternative.
